Staggard - Species sheet

There i said i´ll post more of Welwera and i did it. It was more of a sudden whim to draw these guys than actual planning but anyhow. These are staggard (until i found a less cheap name) they don´t really play a big part in my storyline, i´m not sure they even show up but they´re as important as any species inhabiting Welwera. Staggard live in the former Empire and now have their own lose system called the Saragd (yet another silly name~). Loose becaues Staggard live in harems meaning one to three males with several females. Any male trying to rule over others would have a really hard time gaining authority since others would hate to accept somebody above them. Basically it´s a nation of countless harems. Cooperation isn´t one of their strenghts.

Staggard prefer to stick to their own kind although the groups living closer to grassland can sometimes speak the common tongue.
As said i made this without spending hours on research so obviously facts stated her aren´t a 100% scientific but i hope it´s not entirely unrealistic.







And i finally done it, i made a ref sheet that´s not utterly confusing and it took only half the time of what it first did which is still painfully long >.>

work time: illustrations: 2 hrs ref sheet: 4 hrs(?)
tools: PS CS5, bamboo tablet, references of: deer anatomy, deer muscles, deer antlers, deer feet, deer nose, deer udder, etc.  (yeah i doubt many people google that)
