Welwera

My very own fantasy world. Sorry for the ugly water mark but this is my map and mine only. Drawing this map took about 15 hrs, creating it was a process over the course of years. It´s still not a 100% perfect but i´m slowly getting there. I´m planning on making different types of maps of Welwera like climate, political, pyhsical maps etc. The lineart itself turned out great but it´s not really shown here since it´s an attempted satellite shot (emphasis on atempted )


I`m considering doing map commissions, would anybody be interested?



Welwera lies below the equator so it gets colder further South. The main mountain massif at the center is known as Gorra. There is a gigantic vulcano at its center its dome standing at a size of 12.000m/ 40.000 ft (it is a huge vulcano alright) while the peaks around it easily surpass 8.000m/ 25.000 ft.. This area is barely inhabited if at all because of the extreme conditions. At the edge of Gorra there are steep cliffs varying in hights but basically the vulcano rose an entire plateau and the outer areas broke apart and sank down creating the cliffs. The wind blows from West to East samse as the undersea currents around Welwera.
